Thompson engaged in marriage on 12 August in Lahore, Pakistan.

years old Wasim Akram started his new innings with 30 years old Shaniera
Thompson. Last month Wasim proposed to Shaniera. Few days ago Shaniera
Thompson comes to Pakistan to celebrate one of the biggest festivals and
also visit Washim’s ill father.
It
is the second marriage of Wasim Akram. His first marriage was in
1995with Pakistani Huma, his first Wife, Huma was died in 2009 and he has two
boys. Last month Wasim proposed to Shaniera Thompson for marriage. And
the marriage ceremony held suddenly in short notice with some of their close
friends and relatives.
After
the ceremony Pakistani Legendary cricketer Wasim Akram said the media
‘I married Shaniera in Lahore last week in a simple ceremony and this is
the start of a new life for me, my wife and for my kids’. The Pakistani celebrity
cricketer also said ‘She has embraced Islam and is learning our language. She
has been close to my sons and they form a very good bond’.
